Huawei took its time in releasing the Mate 8. This 6-inch phablet was originally expected to make an appearance at IFA 2015 in Berlin, but unfortunately, the schedule was delayed. The reason for this lies inside the Mate 8, with its Kirin 950 processor. The new high-end processor from Huawei's own chip manufacturer wasn't actually ready until early December, and thus delayed the launch. Initially, the Mate 8 was only available in China; an international launch was announced at CES 2016 in Las Vegas in January.

Unlike the Honor 10 and other flagship Huawei smartphones launched earlier this year, the Honor Note 10 has a FullView display without a notch at the top. However, despite the lack of a notch, the screen-to-body ratio of the Honor phablet does look quite impressive.
In June, Huawei is said to introduce the next generation Huawei Mate phablet called Mate 8 boasting of a 6 inch display with 2K resolution and Kirin chipset. It is said that this device will feature a 16 MP main snapper with optical image stabilization and have a classy alloy chassis as the Mate 7. The device is also claimed to arrive with a fingerprint scanner.
Huawei has just launched the next version of its Mate-series flagships, and despite the prevalence of leaks and details having been published online before hand, Huawei managed to throw in at least one big surprise.
Microsoft's Windows Phone and BlackBerry's BlackBerry 10 constituted sideshows next to Android (though Nokia's cheap, compact 520 provided a pleasant counterpoint to the phablet fad), and Mozilla's intriguing Firefox OS won't arrive in the U.S. until maybe next year. 2ff7e9595c
