If you select the CIN-based view, enter details from the counterfoil challan such as BSR code of the collecting branch, challan tender date, challan serial number, amount, etc.
If you select the TAN-based view, enter your TAN number and the period during which the challan was generated.
Enter the captcha code and click on view. All the details relating to challan will be displayed on the screen.

TRACES stands for TDS Reconciliation Analysis and Correction Enabling System. It is a web-based application that enables deductors to view and correct their TDS statements online. To generate an online challan through TRACES, the following steps can be followed:

Login with your user ID and password
Go to Statements/Payments tab and click on Request for Online Correction
Select the relevant financial year, quarter, form type, and category of correction (challan correction or PAN correction)
Click on Proceed and verify the details of the statement
Select the challan(s) that need correction and click on Submit for Processing
A token number will be generated for your request. You can track the status of your request using this token number.
Once your request is processed, you can download the online challan from the Downloads tab.
